The Spain coastline along the Iberian peninsula has some of the most beautiful, warm and romantic beaches that Europe has to offer.
		Spanish architect, Antonio Gaude, is best known for his most famous structure, the unfinished Church of Sagradea Familia. He supervised the construction of the church from 1884 until his death in 1926. The church is located in Barcelona.
		Cadiz is thought by some to be the oldest city in Europe, founded in 1100 BC by the Phoenicians. The real boom period was with the discovery of America as Columbus sailed from this port on his second and fourth voyages. Much later the city enjoyed a golden age during the 18th century when it enjoyed 75% of Spanish trade with America. From this time it grew into one of the wealthiest and most cosmopolitan cities in Spain and most of the city`s fine buildings date from this time.The cathedral has recently been re opened after works of restoration.
