What’s to expect from Jobclues.com
My goal in creating Jobclues.com was to be able to offer individual job seekers
some employment tips and tools that would enable them to improve and enhance
their careers, create effective and personal employment strategies, and to
explain aspects of the employment process so that they can understand and
capitalize on that process. Looking for a new job or working towards improving
your career requires skills and knowledge that not everyone has or immediately
understands. I want to bridge that gap between just needing and wanting a
new job to actually making that new career or job a reality!
I have begun to bridge that knowledge gap by providing you with some helpful
tips & tools about the employment process that all job seekers really
need to know and are available now in our resource center. Here’s what
you’ll find on the pages of our resource center:
On the Tips & Tools page,
you’ll find the a booklet I wrote on “How
to Submit Your Resume and Get it NOTICED!” which
tells you the behind the scenes truth about what happens to your resume once
you submit it for consideration and how to use that knowledge to your advantage
in your job search. This booklet is a must for anyone submitting resumes
to job advertisements!
On the Coaching Corner page,
you’ll find information about how you can utilize one on one coaching
to enhance your resume, create an employment strategy or go after your dreams
for your career and life. As a Career & Life coach, as well as a registered
Counselor, I offer my time and services to individuals who want to create
a plan to go after everything they really want to accomplish in their careers
and lives. We are also using this page to offer you some helpful tips with
our “Coaching
Tips ” column where we’ll answer your questions
and write about some coaching strategies that may help you think about some
important aspects of your job search. This month we talk about “What
Are Your Intentions” to help you understand
where best to begin your job search.
On the Who's Hiring page,
our goal was to begin listing companies across the nation who are actively
hiring and connect you directly to their employment page of their corporate
website. We do not post jobs like other job boards; we create direct links
to companies that are hiring NOW across the nation. This page is just beginning
to develop and as we begin to list those hiring companies we will also offer
you some information that job seekers need to know about the employment process
from the corporate side of the process. This month we talk about “The
Key to Using References”, so you can understand
how to best use references for your job search.
On our Recruiter Directory page,
our goal was to create a list of top recruiters across the nation so that
you can find the qualified help you need for your job search. Using a recruiter
is a valuable tool that if used properly can truly enhance your advancing
career. I believe in the value of using a good recruiter, and the key to
finding a recruiter is to understand how recruiters work, what your specific
needs are, and how they can or can’t help you. This month we’ll
start talking about using recruiters with, “What
to Expect From a Recruiter”.
Remember, Jobclues.com was created to help you the individual job seeker.
If you have comments, questions or need help with your specific job search,
please email us from the list of contacts on our site. My commitment to you,
the individual job seeker, is to help you through the employment process
by providing helpful information, and connections to valuable job searching
tools and services. Each month, we will post new tips & tools articles
on our resource center pages listed above and hope that you find your visit
to jobclues.com helpful! Good luck in your job search!
